Policies and Fees

The following information and description of policies is included below:

  1. Payment
    Full payment must be made 48 hours in advance of the event by credit or debit. Businesses, schools, and churches may make payment by check with prior arrangement. Personal checks and cash cannot be accepted, though tips for delivery technicians are appreciated. A nonrefundable $50 dollar or 50% (for events over $500) booking deposit is required to reserve the unit.

  2. Delivery
    Bouncin Bins is committed to providing exceptional service for your events. Our delivery technicians will arrive before your event and have the units prepared for use by the time the event is scheduled to begin. Due to a variety of delivery conditions, it may be necessary to drop off and prepare the units early or to pick them up later than the scheduled event time. If you have any schedule restrictions please advise the Event Coordinator at the time of booking. IF THE DRIVER DETERMINES DURING PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION THAT THE UNIT YOU ORDERED IS NOT FIT FOR OPERATION WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DELIVER A BOUNCE HOUSE OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE.

  3. Cancellations
    • For any cancellation made more than 48 hours before the event time is eligible for a refund of the event total less the booking deposit. For events less than $500 dollars, the booking deposit is $50 dollars. For events $500 dollars or greater, the booking deposit is 50% of the total invoice. In both cases the booking deposit will remain on your account and can be used for up to 1 year from the date of the cancellation.
    • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours of notice are not eligible for a refund. Our Event Coordinators will do everything possible to assist you in rescheduling your event, but no guarantees can be made.

  4. Weather
    Weather is often unpredictable. You are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and giving Bouncin Bins at least 48 hours advance notice to reschedule an event due to inclement weather. IF WINDS GUSTS ARE IN EXCESS OF 20MPH YOU MUST DEFLATE THE UNIT(S). In all situations you should be conscious of your own safety.
    • If weather conditions before delivery on the day of your event are so severe that they represent a danger to either you or our driver, we will contact you and reschedule your event.
    • If weather conditions become severe after delivery, deflate the unit. ALWAYS BE MINDFUL OF YOUR SAFETY. If this happens, please call 503.446.3269 and notify the Event Coordinator on duty. Any consideration for rescheduling due to severe weather during an event will be made on a case by case basis.

  5. Safety
    IF SAFETY IS A CONCERN, ALWAYS PUT YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF YOUR GUESTS FIRST. Please contact 503.446.3269 immediately if there is a safety issue that you cannot correct.
    • All inflatables require a minimum 4 foot clearance on all sides.
    • Electricity must be available within 50 feet of the blower unit. Any distance beyond 50 feet represents a safety risk due to improper inflation and voltage drops. Generators are available for rent if your venue does not have sufficient power.
    • All inflatables must be staked down for safety. If staking is not an option, notify the an event coordinator at least 24 hours before your event and we will provide sandbags. Event Coordinators can be reached at 503.446.3269.
    • Deflate units if there are wind gusts over 20MPH by unplugging the blower and unzipping.

  6. Problems During Rental
    Any pre-existing damage to a unit must be reported within 1 hour of the setup of the unit. Any issues with inflation must be reported immediately. Please call 503.446.3269 immediately to report the damage to an Event Coordinator.
    • Most problems can be resolved with quick troubleshooting. Check to make sure that the power is still going to the blower and that there are no obstructions to the airflow.

  7. Refunds
    In order to ensure exceptional service, we process every refund individually. Our site managers and rental managers work in conjunction to make certain that any issues are resolved expeditiously. The key to proper resolution of your event is early contact. Here is a step by step overview of our refund process:
    • Event Coordinator records details of rental problem and passes information to rental manager
    • Rental manager contacts the site manager and drivers to determine the source of the issue
    • Rental manager records all details of the issue in a permanent file
    • Rental manager contacts customer regarding an appropriate solution to the issue

  8. Power Source
    Customers must provide a power source for inflating a unit within 75 feet of the setup location. OUR CORDS ARE 50 FEET LONG, WE DO NOT PROVIDE POWER CABLES BEYOND 50 FEET. The power source must be a standard household 110V outlet. Generators that do not provide sufficient power can cause damage to the blower and the unit. THE CUSTOMER IS LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY USE OF A GENERATOR NOT PROVIDED AS PART OF A RENTAL.

  9. Description of Fees
    • Park Fee
      Events hosted at a park are assessed a charge of $15 dollars for the strict scheduling requirements of public spaces that have specific use-time limitations. This fee compensates for the reduced flexibility of deliveries to these public areas.
       
    • Equipment Protection
      Bouncin Bins understands that accidents happen, and we offer equipment protection to give you the peace of mind that you won't be held responsible for the repair bill. If you have equipment protection on your order, it covers any small rips tears or punctures that occur to the unit while it is in your care so long as they happen during normal use. Equipment protection does not cover non-standard use of the unit, intentional damage, or damage caused by the use of any adhesives or similar products. It also does not cover damage from silly string, intentional misuse, neglect, or animals THIS IS NOT LIABILITY INSURANCE. EQUIPMENT PROTECTION ONLY COVERS DAMAGE TO THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
       
    • Travel Fee
      The travel fee includes all costs associated with the setup and delivery of your unit. STAIRS MUST BE REPORTED TO THE EVENT COORDINATOR AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. UNREPORTED STAIRS WILL BE ASSESSED A MINIMUM CHARGE OF $15 PER STAIR. The stair fee reflects the additional liability involved with uncommon delivery obstacles.
       
    • Wet Fee / Water Slides / Dunk Tanks
      The wet fee covers the additional cost of preparing and cleaning units that have been used with water. A hose and water source must be provided by the customer for all water units, 503.446.3269 cannot supply hoses or water. The wet fee is assessed only for combination units. Water slides and dunk tanks do not have a wet fee. A $50 DOLLAR FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR ANY UNITS USED WITH WATER THAT DO NOT HAVE THE WET FEE INCLUDED ON THE ORDER.
       
    • Additional Insurance
      Additional insurance charges reflect the cost of adding an individual or organization to our insurance policy as an additional insured. In most cases, the insurance is in effect for the date of the event only. The insurance provides coverage up to $1 million per incident and $2 million aggregate.
